[Tariq] Hey guys, it’s been a few months since our last update so let me just hit you with the cold water: I’ve got lupus. Now I know what you’re thinking, so I’ve prepared an FAQ.

Q: What does that mean?

A: Lupus is an autoimmune disease where your body attacks its own tissue, in my case causing inflammation in my eyes and hands. Because every case of lupus is different, it’s hard to diagnose.

Q: How did you get it?

A: No idea and we (like, collective medical knowledge) has yet to pinpoint a cause for it.

Q: How is this affecting you?

A: The main issues are with my eyes. I’ve got light sensitivity and noise in my vision, as well as a few minor and one major blind spot that probably won’t recover. Not as scary as I make it sound. I also have a few small bald spots so I’m glad I’ve discovered something worse than male pattern baldness.

Besides that, we’ve been gearing up for a really fun summer. Lots of spending time with friends, fun activities, you name it! And be on the lookout for a short story I’m writing called “The Judge” (assuming I don’t change the title) because I think I’m really cooking with gas here.

[Jada] Hi all, the past 5 months have been interesting to say the very least. We’ve made many memories with our friends. I’ve started doing some friends nails and i really love it, I started cooking more for my friends and it’s been so nice to see people enjoy my food. I got blonde highlights and I think it’s very slay for the summer. We have a very fun summer ahead, a big trip with friends!! It’ll be so fun and we will update you all as we go along.

[Tariq] I almost forgot to mention we’ve been doing nothing but listening to Epic: The Musical all day every day. That soundtrack is unreasonably good. Hope to have a more interesting update next time but for now, get used to seeing me in groovy red shades.
